Bubbles from algae

I know there are bubbles in bad forms of algae, but I don't see any if that, just hair algae that is growing back after my crabs and snails had their way with it, but today I see bubbles floating around the tank and when locating the source I see this, can anyone help me out here, what is causing it and what should I do to stop it

The algae could just be expelling gas, maybe even hydrogen gas formation. Either way it is not much of an issue. Although you should try to remove the algae, there are some good threads on how to do this, the main culprit is almost always excess nutrients.
