One thing to be aware of is once DI filters are saturated, they will release substantial amounts of silicate quickly. I change my DI filter when I get a TDS reading above zero.

Yes I knew that Cliff. I have an add-on dual DI that I purchased many months ago. TDS reads 0. I'm "assuming" my sand and/or rock is the culprit!
