ummm.. can u put a strip of bubbles in a salt water tank for asthetic purposes like we do in fresh water tanks?
what are the pros and cons? can it disturbe or hurt anything?
maybe get clogged to often? but what yall think? or just a small tube with bubbles in the corner? thought it would be fun for my goby?

that should be fine, i had some when i first started my tank, but everyone hear said it wasnt nessasary so i took it out.

mmm

lets face it im a girly girl!! lol
as long as it doesnt hurt anything.....Im done for some pretty bubbles and some entertainment!! lol
who doesnt like BUBBLES???? LOL ty

Girly girl, hate to burst your bubble (haha), but it's actually not as good of an idea as freshwater--IF you are going to put corals in your tank. It may bother them.
Even if your tank is a fowlr, it may not be worth it--imagine all the salt you'll have to clean in and around where the bubbles reach the surface--it will be hell!
However, if you MUST do it, I'd suggest coarse, large bubbles, NOT micro bubbles. And as noted above, it's not really needed for oxygen exchange.
If your tank is fowlr, I'd say--give it a shot and get back to us--experimentation is good!

hahahah

fowlr? umm agreed big bubbles better..good point about salt at top tho..mmmmmm i do have a lot of nice corals (zoa's), but they are on LR front and center..wondering if i can get away with a bubble or two in back corner..hopfully bubbles and salt will just pop into the chamber behind? hehehe..maybe ill try it!! ill let you know!! thanks
