bug found on my zoo's!

I pulled this guy(s) off one of my zoo's. Looks like it has a clutch of eggs on it. Any idea what it could be?

Thanks!

You have zoa eating nudibranchs. See # 9 in the link above

See the link below, I have used this dip for many many years safely. Many many others have tried it as well. I updated it later in the thread below but you can safely use 6 drops of Lugoal per gallon of water. DO NOT ADD THOSE 6 DROPS TO YOUR TANK.

Please read all of the links above, you really need to jump on this ASAP. Good luck

If you have 2 nudis, you have many more and you need to do more than just dipping. Please read those links my friend.

Must be my lucky day! Went for another inspection and found another, on a different zoo, on the opposite side of the tank. Looks like I'm due for a dip. Where can I get Iodine?

Thanks.

Not so sure about the lucky part. If you have full sized breeding nudis you will need to check for egg clusters. They are clear, curcular, spiral, and look similar to snail eggs that you might see on the glass except they will be on your polyps. Best time to hunt nudis is just after your lights come on and the zoos aren't open.

Be persistent and you'll be able to rid your tank of them. It can take some time, but you can definitely win this battle.

I did check my zoo's last night, pulled half of them out of the tank for an inspection, and found 1 more, which got away, and a asterina star. I picked up some lugols, and flatworm exit, and plan on using Mucho's method, to dip all my zoo's. I'll also do another inspection for eggs.

Only thing I'm not sure about is the colonies that have some paly grandis attached.

Thanks.

URGENT - whatever you do, please do not fresh water dip the P. Grandis as they can not tolerate any type of fresh water dip and they will perish and slime rapidly. Just a heads up.
