building a canopy

well seeing as how my first of 3- 250w mh's is on the way i guess now its time to look into building the canopy.... im totally unsure on the dimensions but from what i remeber hearing the light should be about 8-10" from the top of the water... my tank dimesions are 72" x 18" but how tall should it be??? also if anyone has any tips or links they could hook me up with that would be cool
im only getting one for now that way ill still have some cash for the swap but ill be ordering another one soon and finally a third in the near future aswell

or if someone is possibly selling a 72" x 18" canopy or mabye even build me one to match my stand would be even better

im guna be goin to pick up the wood and get started in the next few days.. i guess my question is should i leave the back of the canopy open so it doesnt heat up? or seal it off so no light escapes?? also on the height would 12-13" be ok?? if anyone has any pics of canopies they built them selves that would be great too

on my 72" x 18" with 2 400 watt mh and 2 VHO's i went with 16" tall and had 8 computer case fans blowing in, didn;t need a chiller. I can take a pic if ya want since it's sitting on my floor at the house.

ok, just remember that it's not clean, it spent the last 14 months sitting in the basement until i could make room for the tank so don;t mind the dust.

sorry man, i didn't forget i just can't find my digi camera. we moved on sat and everything is still in boxes somewhere. i still can;t find my shoes either. how do you lose shoes???
