Building a DIY tank

How hard is it and do I need anything in particular besides regular aquarium silicone to hold all 5 pieces of glass together? I'm thinking about having my local glass shop cut the glass for me and drill the holes for me they said they would put it together for me but of course couldn't guarantee anything.
What is the typical size holes on say a 93g tank that's drilled? How far apart are the holes and how far off the back of the glass are they typically?
My worst fear would be having a tank with 100g of water explode everywhere

If you haven't built a tank before maybe start small or take a smaller aquarium apart and rebuild it for practice. I was thinking about building an aquarium myself (just for the fun, it's not always about the price lol), so I think I will start will small aquariums and try a 90 gallon shallow tank. I'm thinking of using acrylic though.

Maybe you know this but search "uarujoey" on YouTube and he has great detailed videos of tank builds.

I'm really wanting to try and build my next upgrade from my 60cube hoping for around the size of a 93 what's the best way to hold the pieces of glass together while siliconing them together
