Building a sump: Need some input

First off, I need to know where I can get some pieces of glass or acrylic for my baffles. I was thinkning 1/4" thickness, would that be enough? And second, what type of silicone do you guys use? I have heard on reefcentral that some people use GE II or something but I am not 100% sure. I do not want to poison my tank. All input will be highly appreciated!

I bought my acrylic baffle material at Home Depot..... Also, pure silicone will not pollute your water.....

However, if you are building a sump from scratch and using all acrylic do a search on "Melev" He has a great do it yourself web page for building a sump.....

Have fun.....:D

I went to my local True Value hardware store, and had them cut the glass baffles for me. $1.99 per baffle.

20/20 - how thick was that glass? I just got bent over at my glass shop for $7.50 a piece for 1/4" 9 x 11.75 pieces.
