wow Ryan - got the reactor online huh? Were you really at a point you needed it yet?

I'm still able to get by on kalk. I'm riding the 10% Oceanic weekly change and heavy kalk drip train as long as I can.

Let me know how you like that reactor.

I didn't really need it yet but I got everything for around $400 so I thought that was a good deal.

Here is the best close up of the clam that I have:

Those are some amazing looking zoos too!

I haven't tried the formula 2 in a while. The one I have is rather old so I need to buy another package.

They go nuts over some nori though!

I found this guy on my acro last night, is he good or bad?

He be an acro crab (i think), most likely will be fine. If he ventuers out and starts to eat snails and such, banish him.

mine is a little hairier than yours (and blurrier). i was told to take him out and he will eat the polyps off of your corals, but i havent seen him do any damage besides walking on the polyps. i watch him pull food items off of his hairy legs and also see him scavange algae off of the tips of this acro.

he came to me in a dying (small) colony. he picked it clean then left it for a more colorful colony. after he left the original one started coming back. it was almost as if he left the first one so it could recover, very odd.

i say inoccent until proven guilty.

Did you hear they were bad, is that why you banished him? Mine isn't quite like that as you can see. Mine is a little more hairy. Not quite Robin Williams hairy, like H2OLovesme but in the middle. :)

I banished him because I didn't need any more crabs. He never even went in my tank. Straight to the fuge.

I was busy blowing the rocks to try and get any debris off. What a mess. You'd think that 3600 gph wouldn't allow anything to sit on the rock's but you'd be wrong.

i re-arranged one of my Seios last night and the same thing happened (blew crap all ovr the place). ive got 4000gph in my display and shhtuff still settles.

My SEIO's were starting to get a lot of hair algae on the outputs so I left them off last night (mainly to let newly glued frags have ample time to dry) and now they are spotless. I should give the tangs a raise!
