Bulb combo for 50g shallow reef.

I'm building a canopy for a retrofit kit (SLR). The tank is 36x18x18. It will be a 6x39w setup. What do you think about this bulb combo?

this was recommended to me, should be 14k-15k look. Also, I plan for the tank to be majority SPS.

also,
if it was setup as a peninsula tank would you switch something?

I have the UVL actinic white, and it's a little too pink for myself. I plan to switch it out for the aquablue special. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the AB special has a higher PAR lavel.

But given all those Blue plus bulbs in there mixed with the daylight bulb, you'll have plenty of PAR.

I know they're both 12k and very similar bulbs.

I have an aquablue special on my 55g setup but have never been able to compare.

well, the AB special is a 50/50 combo of blue and white where as the actinic white is exactly what the name says. Do you find the AB special looks pink to you? I'm thinking that maybe the blue spectrum can mask the red hues better than the actinic spectrum can. Good luck to you and your setup!

I'd replace one of the blue+ with KZ fiji purple.

well.. It's offcial.

I decided to go ATI sunpower 6x39w instead of the retros for a couple reasons:

don't have to construct a canopy
don't have to do much assembly other than hanging it
better reflectors
don't have to buy fans (ati's come with active cooling)
It's ATI

I went out on a limb and decided to give the kz fiji purple a try.

KZ fiji purple
ATI Blue Plus
