Bulb recommendation needed

Hiya,

I am going to be ordering some bulbs. Right now the T5 (2 blueplus 36 inch bulbs) used with 14k ushio bulbs is too blue. What is the brightest pure white light producing bulb good for 175 watt icecaps? I have enough blue from the T5 as it is.

Hi Chris,

Without a doubt I would recommend the 14k Iwasaki. It produces more PAR than any of the other 175 SE bulbs on the market, and a lot of the 250w SE bulbs! It is bright ice white. You will not see any yellow in this bulb, but no blue at all either. It is a true 14k lamp, which to the naked eye is very ice white.

Thanks for the recommendation. After both you and Andy from Icecap recommended them I guess they are a must try. Just ordered them. Hope I made the 2pm cutoff
