Bulging eye

I have a small grouper and a one spot rabbittfish , that seem to dual often . It's actually the larger rabbit that chases the grouper away ,flexing it's dorsal at him . The grouper has one bulging eye but no visible puncture mark . Is there a disorder that bulges just one eye or should I blame the bully ? Thanx in advance for any suggestions .

Sounds like an injury. Think you have to worry about is secondary infection.

You might consider a bigger tank, or separating those two, things will probably get worse.
