Bulging eye??

Can anyone tell me what this is and should I be concerned?



There is some sort of bubbling going on that is making his entire eye protrude.

Here's a shot that allows you to see how far it protrudes.

Any help will be grateful.

EDIT: Could this be the result of a sting from an anemone or a coral?

its popeye most likely cause by injury..doubtful if its from your anemone could be from another fish or like you said scratched by rock or coral... this is easily treated with melafix ..turn off skimmer b4 hand also if you run carbons remove them...melafix wont hurt your inverts or corals but it tends to tick them off

Awesome thanks... I have been trying to catch him all day to put him in the QT, trying not to stress him. I have some melafix so I will just dose it to the main tank. Thanks
