Bulk purchase aragonite sand...

Ok, Here's the deal. Dry aragonite sand for $0.48 per pound delivered to your door. I will be delivering on Saturday afternoon, February 10. I want $0.25 per pound paid in advance, and the rest on delivery. PM me any questions and for payment details.

man I wish I could have gotten in on this deal but I still have a few weeks till I will need sand and all.... and I was not sure of the tank size.

Mike, Thanks SOOO much! Hope you didn't have a hard time finding the place. Apparently my husband put the sand in the garage after you left. I didn't know that and at 4am went searching for it all around the house -- my socks were soaked!! Then I saw that the money had been picked up! After 15 minutes, I went back in the house and saw the sand as soon as I opened the door. I had walked RIGHT OVER it and didn't notice.

Seriously, thank you very much! It looks great!

Question...can I just slowly add it directly to an already existing tank that needs some more sand? Most of it is going into new tanks, but I want to add some to an established tank.

Laine, You can add it to an existing tank. The best way is to use a piece of 1.5" or 2" pvc and a funnel. Put the bottom of the pipe on the existing substrate and funnel it in. Pour a couple of mountains and then spread it out. Make sure closed loops or power heads are off until the cloud settles.

Mike just delivered the sand tonight, and now i cant wait to get my tank wet, plus he gave me 20lbs free! thanks dude i really appreciate this as i dont have much money and its been really hard to get this tank started
