Just stopped by there since I haven't been there in months. They have partnered with bulk reef supply and have lots of their products. I saw all of the 2 part stuff in small and large quantities and magnesium. He also had their dosing pumps, ro/di units, reef chili and ro replacement filters. I didn't check he prices , but he said they would be the same as on the bulf reef site plus a little to cover the shipping. Also said they can get anything that is on the site in the store.

Had some nice corals, but not a lot. I think i saw a bubble coral.

They are pretty much across the street from Baldwin Highschool.

Make sure you call before heading there as they do aquarium maintenance and are not always there.

I was in there a few weeks ago. He was in the process of setting up a nice little frag tank. Hopefully he will do well and be able to supply the South Hills crowd with some decent frags.

Atlantis

Atlantis

I was there a couple days ago to get some salt and noticed a couple new frags in one of his tanks. He said he got them from a company called Fish Heads and that he was going to start getting more frags from the. I think he said he was going to price them around $30 or 4 for $100. There we nice size frags too with some good color.

He would definitely get some business at those prices. I am going to have to stop by. I haven't been there in a while. I got my first 55 gallon setup off of him 15 years ago. It had one of his custom HOB filters....:lmao:

I've never heard of Fish Heads. This is the only thing that comes to mind: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNuaDWQ5_YM

I plan on heading down on Friday afternoon sometime. He also mentioned he would buy frags from local reefers, if anyone is interested.

I stopped down today. He does have a bunch of BRS stuff but if the price of the replacement filters is any indication, I'll be ordering online. I was looking at the 5 Micron MATRIKX + CTO®/2 Carbon Block which list for $7.99 online and he had them for $16.99.

Some of the coral he had looked nice though.

Did you ask about matching the online price? I could see a 2 - 3 dollar markup, but for twice the price there is no reason not to order online.

It was just his mother there. I didn't plan on stopping by but had a few minutes to kill and saw the open sign. The filters were the only things that had price tags on them. I didn't talk to Gary. I may give him a call and ask him about matching online.

I stopped and picked up some bulk 2 part and some carbon the other day. Think it was just a $3 mark up on each item. It'll be nice to have a store that carries BRS items close by.

For anyone that has stopped in to Atlantis - do they carry the BRS dual Carbon/GFO reactors?? I was going to order online, but if the markup is minimal I would rather buy local.
