I was looking into Ecorox myself a while back, but I never saw any good pictures of the rocks. Any idea how they compare to Marco? If they are comparable, I might take you up on the combo offer.

haha, I should have checked out the website again before I spoke! They have added quite a bit more to the EcoRox area since I was last there.

I've got to do some math and debating before I can say I'm in, but what sort of time frame are you thinking of?

I was looking at the 1 gallon pail of carbon and the next smaller size of GFO if I'm buying alone. I just figured if anyone else needed it we could split a 2 gallon of carbon and 1 gallon of GFO or if a lot of people needed we could go for bigger buckets.

The GFO gets expensive in bigger buckets and should last a little longer per volume than the carbon. I'm planning to use it continually at a much lower "dose" than recommended just as a little added protection since I already have the reactors...so a little should go a long way even though my volume is large. I also cannot afford to go much bigger right now unless someone wants to buy a 90 gallon
