bulkhead install?

sup i just got my bulkheads in and i want to install them. i have a aga built in overflow with pre drilled holes. i need to know if the gasket goes inside the tank or outside?

The gasket goes against the flange side not the nut side. So you put the gasket on the bulkhead, put the bulkhead into the hole, and then put the nut on.

The preferred way is to have the Flange/Gasket on the inside of the tank and the nut on the outside.

Do not over tighten. You want hand tightened and maybe a 1/4 turn more. Any tighter and you run the risk of cracking the bulkhead.

Thxs should I lube up the gasket? If so what kind of lube do u reccomend?
