I just purchased a 180g with canopy and stand but Im not entirely sure what to do with the overflows. Each overflow has 2 holes, 1 on each side for intake and return. The bulkheads were detached and I know how to put them on.
It appears the bulksheads for the return have the tube attached to meet with the spray spout at the top of the overflow. My Mag 18 return pump will shoot the water up the pvc plumbing and into the tank.
My question is.. for the intake of the overflow, do I only put the bulkhead in and leave it as is and have the pvc plumb to the sump or do I need something else for it? In the picture, do I need the gray part if this bulkhead is for the intake?
