bulkhead ???

Hey Pumper

Hey Pumper

I have 9 bulkheads in 42.1gal. if you really want you can have a lot of bulkheads!!! yeah!!!! Thats one bulkhead to every 4.67777777777 gallons, if you get a better ratio you win a free brown digi frag!!!

Wow tuberider, that's a lot of bulkheads! So is having so many bulkheads compensating for something in your personal life. I mean, like when guys with little peters go out and buy a fast car to feel better about themselves, do fish geeks do the same thing by putting moreb bulkheads in their tank?

whoa there smellyfish,

looks like someone has some pent up aggression. Things not going well on the homefront or something? I wouldn't be so hostile if i were you. Let's keep this place a peaceful place to post questions. With replies like that its a wonder any one has the galls to post questions, especially with characters such as yourself. You should find a more constructive method of dealing with your frustration and refrain from lashing out at your fellow "fish geeks." I feel pity for anyone who works for you. Its all but apparent that you must treat anyone who works under you like second-class citizens. I bet if someone was working for you, they'd feel you were condesending and patronizing, and under-appreciative of the amount of work they do. Someone has to stand up for the little guys against disgruntled grumpy men, such as yourself.

peace.

smelly fish,

maybe if you were my boss, but fortunately for me, my boss has as much of a back bone as a nudibrach. So i think i'm in the clear. And its nice to know what i said was true about you. That's all I have to say on the matter. Let's talk fish and no let your attitudes spoil the spirit of this forum.

LOL Yes it did help!!
I'm actually shocked on how much negativity I have seen on this forum. I might just have to post questions on another forum:(

It isn't normally like this.

This forum has quite few people who can help you out. What size tank is this for?

Don't let one person ruin your experience here. 99% of the folks here on reef central are great people 99% of the time (we all have our days.)

You should also make the drive for atleast one BAR meeting, it's good to put a face to all the names here.

size of bulkhead

size of bulkhead

Thanks for that info. I used it for the overflow drain under gravity calc.

What about for closed loop? I am looking to get about 3300 gph from closed loop drains to supply three 1 in sea swirls for new tank I will be purchasing. Not sure if I can use just two 1.5 bulkheads or do I need larger ones or more. Is there a similar calc ?

Hope my question is appropriate for this thread.

Thanks
