I hear so many people having great luck with these skimmers but I cant get mine to skim for anything. At best I get a tea colored skim. No dark skimmate.
I am running a Blueline HD 55 plumbed right out of a 20gal DIY sump...the exit is over the water and not impeded.
The directions say to adjust your gate valve so I have NO MORE than 1" water in the forst tube then adjust your air. I`m telling you if I do this I get 0 skimmate....Any suggestions?
