Bumbs & shivering - Clownfish

I have two clownfish which I have had for about a year now. I will post the tank's parameter's when I wake up in the morning. :) I'm been tossing and turning for 3 hours now... :(

Anyway... One has two identical bumps on both sides of it's stomach. It's not white or anything, just two bumps just under his front fins... (Picture Nemo's bad fin and just at the tip of it, that is where the bumps would be.) They are perhaps an eighth of an inch in diameter. I tried to take a pic, but it moved to fast... I will have my mom take a pic tomorrow with her good camera that will not blur...

The other will shiver, almost like a convulsion, for about two seconds and then act like nothing's happened.

I did add a new green carpet mat three weeks ago, but besides that nothing has been added for three months.

Something else to note, the two have suddenly become very interested in swimming in my xenia, green star polyps, and toadstool leather... Also tonight I noticed that they are chasing and trying to bite my clown goby, which was introduced into the tank at the same time as them... I had never noticed any aggression before tonight.

Like I said, I'll post the parameters and pics, I hope, tomorrow.

Thank you for your time.

Well... I have buckets heating and aerating now...

I now that this has changed from okay within this week.. but now too find out why...

ammonia: 0
nitrite: 0
nitrate: 40
pH: 7.8
temp:75F

Thank you for your time!

my 2 clowns do that shivering and convolsion, i want to say its a mating thing, dont wory about that, now the bumps, hard to say with out a picture, keep a eye out for the bumps and is the clown with the bump still eating?

Yes, they both are eating like pigs... If the bumps weren't so small, I would think that it was him/her getting fat! :o)

You need to get your ph up. The shivering thing is a mating thing, and they are hosting in your corals. They wil chase off any "intruders" near their area.

Thank you for your replies about the shivering... If I had actually read in the clownfish section I would have seen that!

Here is the best pics we could do. I hope that they are viewable.
