Ok I finally got around to hooking up the Closed loop I should have asked before I left but I picked up a mag 9 for it. Between that and my sump I am now turning over the tank 18 times per hour... Is that enough? or should I still have a power head going?
Where is a good place to pick up that Flexible tubing I see in everyones tank? the black stuff with the ribs in it...
I also turned the middle chamber of my sump into a refugium I added 3" of dry sand and 1" of Live sand from an LFS. Plus I purchased a handfull of Cheeto, or however it's spelled
I put a light over the tank on a timer to come on when my lights go off.
We then picked up Eggcrate from Lowes BTW they had tonnes of it, home depot was all sold out and of course no one was in the aisles.. We got home and were beat but we rescaped it anyway :lol: It is nice to go to sores now and actually know what I am asking for instead of walking around in a fog
The best part about this is the whole family did it, I think my wife is more addicted then I am she made sure she was free for the meeting next week LOL
