I kept cooperbands, zosters, and pyramids long term without huge problems if you have a enough corals I wouldn't worry to much you just have to roll the dice.
+1 for pyramids. I have a couple, and they do very well. Unique fish for the reef and very peaceful.
Schooling banner fish are reef safe as well
Black back, C. melannotus IME is safe with SPS. Picks a little on everything but not more than dwarf angels. It eats Sinularia, picks on clams and LPS. So if you only have SPS he will be fine.Hey guys,
I am thinking of put some butterflyfish in my SPS tank.
Any advice for reef-safe butterflies?
Thanks in advance!!!
Copper band is a good choice but certain individuals can eat some reef creatures stuff as clams and snails.

A little additional information.
I recently put in a small Goniopora and the butterfly is ignoring it, so apparently it does not pick or eat all LPS either. I know for sure that he picked a bubble coral badly before I rescued it to another tank.
Strong +1 for getting a pyramid .. Have mine 3 years in my SPS reef... Great fish!
I had pyramids they were fine
