Buying a Blue Hippo Tomorrow, Profalactic Treatment?

So I am picking up my Hippo tomorrow. The LFS is getting him from California. He is going to call me when he gets back from the airport with him. He will give him to me in the wholesalers bag so it does not go in his tanks. Trying to eliminate ich possibilities as much as possible. I plan on a 2 month qt total and will treat with prazipro. I want to possibly do a preventative ich treatment on this fish as they are very prone to ich, but wanted to get everyone's thoughts. It's almost a guarantee he will be flashing when I get him in the QT tank.
Should I do hypo or copper for preventative? I am not a fan of preventative ich treatments but with this fish it might be needed.

They handle copper well and I personally run all fish through copper treatment.

You can also perform tank transfer prior to his term in the QT instead of the Copper. See the stickies about the specifics here in the forum.

I agree these tangs tend to be fairly hardy with Copper treatment as well.
