Buying both clown & anemones

What type of clowns and anemone are you thinking about?
But, and this is just my opinion, I like getting the anemone first, it gives it time to settle in. In some cases clowns can be hard on anemones at first, so letting the anemone get settled in the tank should reduce so of that stress.

If you mean multiple percs, if you stick with two you should be fine. I wouldn't put more then 2, and I wouldn't mix species.
I would stay away from any of the carpets if this is your first attempt at anemones. Perhaps a BTA from a local reefer would be a better choice.
How long has your tank been set up and what type of lights do you have?
