Buying harlequin shrimp

ok i'm going to buy a pair....
where can i buy them better at a LFS or internet.. and i was hoping to get a pair and from hawaii the pictures for the hawaii ones are a lot prettier. thank you

i'm in South Jersey haha if that helps
 
The Hawaiian ones are much harder to find, I agree, the color pattern is much nicer to me, but that is individual preference. As far as where to buy them, I don't see a difference if you purchase from a quality source. The ones on LA's divers den seem to be nice and (though I've never bought from them) I have only heard good things about LA.
 
you know if tey have hawaii pair? it looks like only singles? i dont feel like spending the cash adn fail to pair up

No discount but fantastic service. I've done 4 group orders for my reef club in the past 6 weeks with them. I just want them to know I am telling folks about them, because they are so good.
 
ok thank you and thier price is more then reasonable ... thank you, but are the harelquin hawaii? and they are not selling them in pairs? would i need to call them to pair them
 
It usually says exactly where their fish/inverts are coming from--the site says Indo-Pacific. I suggest calling them & requesting a pair. The guy in the fishroom is very knowladgable! You might as well purchase some hocochip stars for them to eat too. I bought 3 for the last order.
 
i was also thinking of having a flame angel fish... will eat the harlequin shrimp.. well other shrimps in fact my poor sexy shrimp
