My LFS has some small Bristletooth Tangs. I stoped by only an hour after they opened. One is labeled Orange Striped Tang and it's about 1" and it is a dark brown/medium black color with head spots and some faint body stripes. One is labeled as Orange Lined Tang and it's about 1-1/2" to 2" (looks similar to the Striped) but it is almost sand color, it does have the very faint spots and stripes. The last one is labeled as a Two Spot Bristletooth and it's only 1/2" to 3/4" maximum and it's brownish/black with a yellow tail.
My questions are: I like the size of the largest one, but I'm not sure about the light coloration. It looks nice and fat, just the coloration. Is this normal or a possible sign of an issue? The medium one looks nice, but just seams a little small. Aren't Tangs 1" or smaller really difficult? The really small one just looks why too small and delicate.
