BW Clownfish Finally Bonding?

They have been together for almost 6 weeks. 4 weeks in QT and 2 weeks in display. I noticed the larger one kept chasing the smaller one around a lot today. Usually they just kinda hover in the same spot.

After the chasing was done I noticed them "dancing". Almost circling each other very closely. The smaller one then twitched and then went limp and started to float downwards. After about 20mins of repeating that things went to normal and they were just playing by the powerheads (they love to fight the current) and looking for food. They are both tank raised and fairly young. One is definitely smaller than the other.

Is it possible they are starting to bond? They also sleep together. But I don't want to get my hopes up because I have had very bad luck with trying to pair clowns. My female in the other tank is a still a big lonely meany.

I wouldn't count on it just yet -- give it a couple of months. I thought the same thing -- after 2 months of mine being together. But, lately the female was getting a lot more bossy, and pretty much picking on the male all the time.

The other day I went upstairs to fed them, the male had jumped and was dead. While I didn't see her chase him out of the tank, her actions prior to that led me to believe that that was the cause.

I agree I wouldn't call it done just yet. Mine fought for 8 months lol. We called it the fight that never ends..
