Well the crab that has terrorized my tank is finally gone now. He finally made a fatal mistake, he moved up into a high rock that was removable. I was looking for him tonight in his normal hiding spot which I haven't seen him in for awhile. I moved up the tank to look at something else and there he was in my gramma's normal hideout. I had notice that hole had gotten twice it's size but didn't put two and two together. Boy that sucker had gotten big, he put up a good fight but backed him self into a dead end hole. I pulled him out one leg at a time till I could stab him thru the hole where is claw use to be and it was over. Now maybe I can keep some snail in my tanks for more then a month before I have to replace some again.
