For about the last week I've been having trouble keeping my Alk between 8-9 & a couple of my Acro's are receding at the base. Today my Ca was just over 500 & Alk was at 7-I'm thinking I should keep dripping in alk & just let the Ca come down on it's own. I've never really had a problem with it untill recently but could fragging alot of corals cause them to use it up quicker?. I normally keep my Ca aroung 420-450 & alk stays in mid 8's. It is a heavily stocked 40br w/softball size colonies. I drip alk at night & Ca during the day via 2.5g drippers. 80% of my turbo snails are not moving-just sitting on the sandbed & very lathargic. Any advice would be helpful
