Ca at 640 ppm ?

Can this be right ? Can Ca of 640 ?, be bad as long as there is no precipitation ? btw ph is 8.2, alk 5.5

What kind of salt mix are you using? I had problems with Oceanic having 600+ ppm calcium.

Also, have you added anything? (B-ionic, Kalkwasser, other calcium additives?)

Also if you use a drop count test kit make sure you stop at the first pure blue color. Many times the color tends to revert back to reddish blue and people add more drops increasing the reading. Stop at the first blue and don't keep chasing the color change.

Analytical chemists, if you can ever find one, call this a fugitive end-point.

Yes I was having problems with the drip tests mine was coming out high and I dont add anything.

oceanic, i used io before but had issues kepin a brain, now same issues, i thought i could keep one on pc's, dam, ill give it back to the lfs instead of killin it
