Just wanted to know if this is all ok
I use the Red Sea foundation pro test kit
20 long just rock and fish and sand, was getting high magnesium like 1500 so started using half IO and half RSCP. I had a Xenia in there that did good till I added a skimmer then faded out and looked like something was bothering it on the stalk I started doing recently 1/2 and 1/2 cause the mag was so high w no corals, 1500 and plus I wanted to try IO in their new tank so wanted to slowly adjust their current tank to it.
So 20 long
Ca 410
KH 3.7/10.4
Mg 1360 (down from over 1500 w straight RSCP )
75 straight IO
Ca 390
KH 3.2/9.0
Mg 1280
Maybe I should do 1/2 1/2 on 75 or all IO?
Or 1/2 1/2 in the future when corals in? I would like to go straight
IO in the 75 cause RSCP $ but what's the point if I will have to supplement ? Might as well stay RSCP? What do you think?
