CA reactor CO2 bubbler question

JELWYOMING
I recently purchased a used single stage CA reactor for my 120g. Everything seemed to be there except some type of filler for the CO2 bubbler. What is used that won't evaporate off fast? Just DI water?

I believe there is a liquid that can be used for this, but I use just RO water. It will last a long time before it has to be refilled. Also the bubble counter does not be filled all the way to the top. You just have to see the bubble rise.

Use water or if you want you can use Glycerin (available any pharmacy), assuming the bubble counter is sealed. Glycerin allows the bubble to slowly rise in the chamber giving a lava lamp feel to the bubble counter <g>

I was considering the glycerin, but wasn't sure if it was reef safe. I was also told that mineral oil was oK. I may just start with the water. Thanks
