Ca?

Do you guys ship out of Ca? If so is there a cheaper rate for those in Ca versus someone across the country? I have seen other sites that do that but none of them are in Ca. Thanks looking forward to getting some wrasses and a Red Sea Mimic Bleeny.

Thanks for the question. We ship to all 50 states (Hawaii with permits only) as well as Puerto Rico. Orders over 140.00 ship for free. Less than 140.00, the shipping charge for Priority Overnight (much safer for the animals than Standard Overnight) is 39.95.

If you are inside CA, then free shipping starts at 100.00 spent. Less than 100.00 and the shipping for Priority Overnight is only 29.95.

Hope that helps.

Since when does that apply? Your billing system definitely doesn't reflect this.
I'm in CA, but when I modified my last order and it went down to $134, the invoice showed $39.95 on shipping charges. Neither free nor just $29.95.

Sir,

We figured who you are and did a thorough check through your extensive order history and not one time have you ever been charged for shipping beyond the 14.95 for Saturday delivery.

I didn't say that you ever overcharged me for shipping.
Though if $100 is really the free shipping threshold for CA residents, why isn't stated on your website or reflected in the checkout calculations?
At a $100 free shipping threshold I would likely have placed more orders.

It actually is calculated on checkout. It has been like that for about 10 years.

You know the secret menu at In-N-Out? It's kind of like that. Our regular CA customers know it and use it often. We also offer Will Call for local customers to save on shipping and to reduce stress for the animals.

:)

OK, I'm gonna try it out. I need a replacement for the jawfish female and a bunch of algae control critters.
