Cabbage Coral Placement

I got this about two weeks ago and I had it place about mid way up in the tank (tank is 75g). It sat ok on the rocks but the crabs keep moving it and eventually I find it on the sand bottom. Would it be ok to leave it on the sand bottom? There is plenty of flow there (med-strong) and the lighting should be ok (medium I'd say).

That's probably ok. These corals are not too demanding when it comes down to lighting & flow to begin with, although the more you give them the better they'll look IME. They're also very easy to prune as well. GL.
