So I just read the thread all the way through, great information in there! Many things to consider with this new tank with the lighting and filtration. Not to threadjack, but did you end up liking the MarinePure balls or would you go a different direction in the future? I have no experience with filtration for these little tanks. And terrypercula, what is your plan for filtration?

Mostly biological filtration from the rock. I may run purigen and chemipure like I do in my biocube. Weekly water changes and no or maybe one small fish is all I plan to stock so I'm not terribly worried.

They seem to be working really well. Pretty much no measurable nitrates.

Added a tailspot blenny. Cool little thing I'll probably never see it though haha

I just got a tailspot the other day. He is in my QT right now with my clowns and already becoming one of my favs. He likes to perch on the one PVC pipe and watch me closely when getting the food out.

I never thought I'd see him but he's always out. Definitely a cool fish.
