Calcium chloride

Hi y’all,

I just got a 50 lbs bucket of Peladow (Calcium Chloride.) This stuff is same as Dowflake, but it dissolves much easier. It is a great calcium booster (the very brand that Dr. Randy Holmes-Farley recommends.) When you need to increase your calcium level without affecting alkalinity, this is the stuff to use. The bucket was $31.51 which turns out to be approx. 63 cents per gallon. Please let me know if you wants some.

Beaslbob seems to have ordered some magnesium chloride from somewhere. If it turns out to be Magflake or the magnesium chloride by Red Sea Works, I will post the information.

Tomoko I am in for a gallon or two(depends on how often you will be ordering), will you be bringing it to the next meeting.

I already have the bucket of Peladow. My friend brought it down for me from Cincinnati. I can bring the bucket to the next meeting. October meeting should be at Corallinedream's house in Decatur toward the end of October unless the plan has changed (I still need to confirm on this.)

I'm in for 1. Thanks Tomoko :)

It's 63 cents per lb.

Sorry about my earlier post with a wrong unit.

Beaslbob confirmed that his stuff is magnesium chloride by Red Sea Works (same stuff as Magflake) but packaged in a different container.

We can bring both of the chemicals to the next meeting and start another feeding frenzy with them, ha ha. Does anyone miss out on the food grade lime? I can get another bag of Mississippi Lime Company's food grade lime, if you'd like.
