actually aim for the norm 420 or something like that no need to supplement it though unless you have stonies in the tank with it the water changes will replenish any that might be used.
calcium will be used in enzymatic reactions and to help with flow of other minerals into and out of its tissues.
well anyways the answer is no they dont require extra calcium.
I agree, there is no need for Ca supplementation unless there is a biolgical sink for it. However, I do recommend monotoring alkalinity. I have had some interesting stuff happen with softies and anenomies with drifting alk.
