Calcium reactor effluent ?

I just set up my Precision Marine calcium reactor and have it going through an effluent chamber also I have had it running for about 3 days now and my alc yesterday was at 11.2 and is at 11.5 today. My question is alot of websites tell you how to adjust the effluent if you don't use a ph controller (which I am) and I am just making sure before I adjust, Do I make the effluent flow more to lower alk or slow it down? Like I said I have my calcium reactor set so the ph inside the chamber is always 6.5 with ARM media with the controller and the bubble rate at about 1 bubble per second and effluent at about 40ml a minute right now. Also what do most of you like to keep your alk at?

Slow it down. The pH in the reactor will remain constant because the controller will tell it to.
