calcium reactor media

What media are you using in your calcium reactor and why? I know this has been discussed before, but to try and run a search here is next to impossible.

I use the Gen-X because that was what was recomended to me and it seems to work very well. HTH, Tim

Gen x also, but run the drip from the reactor into a small cup of phosoban to remove any phospates the material leeches.

Gen-x, just wash it good.

Not running any PO4 media near the effluent

I'm using ARM currently. The only issues I have run into so far is the media braking down to far and it clogs the circulation filter sponges in the bottom of chambers. I plan to try a layered mix of arm and gen-x next time around. They are doing that at physhy's down in Columbus.
