Calcium Reactor ?

In the market for a Calcium Reactor and don't know where to begin. This will be for a 215gal. mixed reef. What brands are good and and what else do I need to buy besides CO2 tank and media, where to buy from,etc...

Thanks in advance for help,Shawn

You will need a regulator for the co2 tank, and I would recommend a ph controller to turn the co2 off and on as needed. Most places offer a package deal the contains everything that you will need. I've had great luck with my GEO calcium reactor.

I have seen Geo Ca Reactor in person. It is very very well built, according to my friend the Ca reactor very efficient.

I just got a GEO but havent gotten it online yet. I got a package deal with everything for a pretty fair price

Geo reactors are in the top 5% of the reactors made. I love mine and have not heard (read) negative comments on them.... THere are others but the geo is rock solid, consistent and pretty efficient.

do yourself a favor and buy either the neptune jr or the reefkeepre 2. you should have a ph controler and these ar only about $100 more but farr more advanced. I would not consider running a reef without a controler, after having one. it just makes reef keeping so much simpler

I have the Reefkeeper 2, are you saying to use the reefkeeper as the controller and if so what do you plug into the reefkeeper, the pump plug?

Thanks-Shawn

forget the part about what gets plugged in, I just saw online that the solenoid valve has a plug.

many otioins out there but two stand out in my mind GEO and Pro-cal. This IMHO are truly the best built and most realible as well as easily accesible reactors.;)
