i screwed up and cracked the houseing on the ehiem recirc pump. grrrrrrrr. i have a new one overnighted to me now. but i have it put together and that was the only problem.
I did the same thing but stopped at the sound of the slightest crack. Whoops. I sealed the pipe threads with silicone like I always do and it worked fine. the housing definitely isn't made with PVC, thats for sure.
