Well honestly hands down its the aquarium plants electronic regular is the way to go. Anything else is junk. That all being said if u r running a controller with it and setup properly on a good reliable controller the regulator is not as important. Set it to fast by just a little and let the controller turn it off and on as needed. If not using a controller then the only way to go is the aquarium plants electronic regulator.

Any solenoid will work all it does is open and close.
I use an aqua medic regulator but as Roger stated I use my apex to control the PH in the reactor instead of counting CO2 bubbles so the regulator isn't as important. From what I hear, the aquariumplants regulator is the way to go if you're using a pH monitor instead of a controller.
Yeah the reactor cam with a Milwaukee controller. Can't remember the exact model number right now. I'm kinda eyeballing the manifold/regulator with the built in solenoid since I'll need a regulator anyways. I am kicking myself for not buying the zeomag yesterday when it was almost half off.
So is everyone running just strait calcium? I know Roger said he's running zeomag. Does anyone run zeovit instead or along with the calcium?

If I understand ur question correct the zeovit system? Yes they recommend a calcium reactor for there systems. I will say though it is very exspensive to run. Very quickly u can have $500 in additives u need to keep everything in check for a full zeovit system.

I just didn't know if it was something you could add into the same reactor with the calcium/mag or if it needed it's whole system. I've briefly looked into the system but haven't dug too in depth. The people I've seen use it tend to get crazy results

No the zeo it stones need a special zeovit reactor that u can shack the stones up twice a day.
Anyone running the milwuakee regulator with valve? I was considering it but now i'm reading mix reviews. A lot of people talking about failure after installing and nuking the tank, and then people with great results calling the ones with failures idiots for not doing something correctly. Or there's the reef fanatic. anyone have $0.02

I have one, You can have it....lol....Don't waste your money....I bought a used M3 that BRS sells and its working great, Only took about half day to get it dialed in....Thats been 9 weeks now and haven't had to touch it since.

Deltec is flimsy cr@p. I have a pile of broken ones - you've seen them. Flimsy fittings and a pump that is built to fail. And there is only one distributor - and he won't honor warranty on pumps. I bought 6 replacements before banning the product. The only reason I kept buying is because I took over a bunch of accounts that were set up by a Deltec distributor and people were unwilling to convert after such high start up costs. Their only product I've used and like is the Kalk stirrers.

I missed where you bought the Geo. Good call. We've had extremely high failure rates with Milwuakee regulators, too. They have to be restarted constantly - just unplug and plug it back in. The problem is so bad that we have put timers on all of ours - just enough to turn it off then turn it on at the next click. Many need to be jump started multiple times in a day. I'll definitely look into Roger's suggestion.
Just jumping on for a follow. I'm debating going with a reactor instead of getting a new DT (for now).

I bought the one that travis had for sale for my new build. I dont want to be chasing my numbers anymore so I will be fallowing this thread. Where can I get A good price on the aquarium plants electronic regular set up. I went to there site and its 439$ which is a lot of cash or I am A cheap *****. Any one using the Reef Fanatic Deluxe CO2 Regulator from BRS. Price is 144$ Little better price. Is it good quality? I wont be getting the Milwaukee regulator just because of the post here. By the way. Right now the reef fanatic and Milwaukee are the only ones on BRS
