So im running a Calcium test on my tank for the first time and keep getting 500+ reading.

I did a 30 gal water change from the 160 gal total system. When i tested it again it still tested high 500+

I stumbled upon this test after some of my zoas wernt looking to hot. I will have to say i was testing out some bioinc doing the normal dosing for the past few days which i can guarantee caused this spike.

Will my calcium go down is there anything else i can do to lower this or should i just do another water change but this time for 50 gals?

thanks for your help!

If your calcium is 500 and your new water is 450 and you do a 50 gallon change it will drop your calcium to ~485. Water changes with most salts that are designed for coral tanks have relatively high Ca levels so water changes are a slow way to bring down the levels. It will work, just slowly so keep that in mind.
