does everyone does calcium??? is this something that you must do for a reef aquariam???

I tested mine a few days ago and it was 320ppm. Way to low I know it needs to be 400+ correct??

What is a good way to get the calcium up???

there are several products on the market that you can use.

also note that reefs are not just calcium. Alkalinity pH and magnesium are also important to watch (some more than others)

I dose Kalk which is a simple way to maintain Calcium, Alkalinity and Ph.

If you have a reef tank , Expect to HAVE to dose calcium and alkalinity supplements. Their are a few occasions where calcium and alk consumption is low enough that water changes will keep levels higher but be sure to test your tank....jthat's the only way to know what you need to be doing. IMO, dosing Ca should be a daily thing...although they do have products that say add weekly or whatnot, daily just seems to be better...more consistant.

A 2-part like B-Ionic or a similar product is an easy way to get going.
