need help please
I have a 75 gallon tank and a 35 gallon refugium so combined I have close to 60 total gallons due to sand bed and live rock. I am having problems getting my calcuim level up!!!
currently ph 8.2
nitrate 0
nitrite 0
ammonia 0
dkh 11
mag 1290
calcuim 350

I am running a calcium reactor with the effluent output between 6.7 to 6.9. it is on a controller and i have found out if I go below 6.5 it will put to much co2 into tank. I have been dosing reef advantage magnesium by seachem to raise the mag up to 1290 but would like to get to 1325 to 1375 if possible.

Can anyone help me get the calcuim up to 425 to 450 ????????::confused:

Get your calcium up by dosing supplements like Kents Turbo calcium. A properly dialed CaRx will help maintain alk and calcium levels and does not increase it. Your mag levels are acceptable. If you want to raise your mag, use Jdiecks reef chemistry calculator.

Turbo calcium = Dow Flake or Excel snow melt. Randy's two part could easily be a way to raise your levels. See the chemistry forum for a lot if info on that, it's at the top. BTW, I have a similar size setup and use 75gal for calculations. Good luck.
