new to the hobby just ordered 75 gal w/built in overflow to sump tank below is it possible to pipe a manifold into the return from the sump or must i cut a hole in the back of the main tank for any manifold plumbing possible to get a diagram am better at visual then text............confused:

You can plumb a manifold into the return pump from the sump and have the piping go up over the top of the tank. You can plumb the manifold through a drilled bulkhead as well. You can drill a bulkhead to pull tank water to a seperate pump and return either over the top of the tank or through another drilled bulkhead. Many ways to do this. The most convenient (least work) is to plumb from the sump return pump and have the manifold go over the top of the tank, as you asked.
