I dont think there is any way to really tell if it is specifically a cali tort. I have seen them all blue to a blue green depending on placement and lighting.

It is definatley a tort though.

Sure looks like a ORA plug. And it looks like a cali/ora tort, and yes light and placement can make it all blue to greenish.

are the ORA plugs like plastic screws? I thought they used large flat discs??

Mine is very small at the base and was like 1 1/2 inches of a hollow screw like plastic (like a maxi jet intake guard)

I say ORA as well. They use several different kinds of plugs. Some of the older ones are the screw looking ones like in the pic above. The newer frags are on the black plug.
