Cali Tort lighting?

Ratpack

I have a frag of a cali tort and it is a little pale. It is high in the tank, so I am wondering if the light is too much. Other SPS are doing fine up there. Is this typically a high light or lower light SPS?

IME they get a deeper blue in moderate lighting and a little more purple and sometimes green in high light and low light.

They do well in either. Bright blue all over for me in high lighting. Starts to get some green in lower.

+1, I have two frags, one is in 400 PAR and is super blue, no hint of any color other than blue. The other frag, from the same coral at the same time, I put in some shade. The shaded one has a green base now. It surprised me how different they can look.

I have one sitting about 12 inches from my light set at ch1 65% ch2 80% at peak hours and it is a real deep blue/purple with just hint of green. It's about impossible to photograph with an iPhone.

My Cali tort get lighter with very bright light, lighter green and blue purple tips. In middle to high light is where they look the best, very bright green and blue.
