calibrating probes

I have followed ghl instuctions on the control.
i would like to know how long the probes need to be in calibrating solution before pressing the button each time.
ie place in solution press button
place in solution wait then press button.
any help welcome just trying to get things right.

i have 2 ph probes ,1 conductivity ,1 redox.

When I calibrated my pH probe I went to Calibration settings, set the desired 2 pH values and individually placed the probe in the solution. I think the probe is given about 10 minutes to give a stable reading, the controller will record the results as soon as the pH readings have stabilized. Once it is stabilized, another screen pops up letting you know that the controller is ready to calibrate at the last value.

Go through the calibration process and you'll learn as you go, that's what happened to me.

thank youi for your reply ReefRockerLive

so as i understand the time on the controller is enough for it to stabilize.

meaning probe in calibration solution press button

thanks

I'll put the probe in the pH 7 (or the first point of the cal) solution a good 10 minutes before running the cal program. Once it's been in there and completely stabilized, then I run the cal. At least it insures that the probe is in 7 long enough. Probably not necessary. It's just a CYA. I've found that the stabilization period in the profilux is adequate.

I thought if you wanted longer times you would just pick a higher number when it asks you while setting up profilux to calibrate (1-4)
