Calibration of PH probes

Hello,

Thanks for your post, I apologize for the delay for the reply. You can calibrate both Probes with the same monitor, but keep in mind that each probe may give you a different reading when you calibrate. Your best bet would be to calibrate the probe you are going to use and when your ready to use the other PH probe calibrate it. The Monitor will only keep the calibration information for the probe that is has been calibrated for. Using a different probe will give you a false reading. I hope you find this information helpful I f you have any further questions please feel free to contact us

Thanks very much for the response Walter, I understand you must be very busy so its appreciated. So if I calibrate a PH probe with the pinpoint monitor and then say attach it to a non pinpoint computer system that is monitoring PH in a calcium reactor and then calibrate the 2nd probe with the same monitor and place in sump all is ok ?

Hello Again,

Thanks for the reply and your understanding.

What you want to do will not work, you'll need to calibrate the probe to the reader it is partnered with. You will not get a correct reading if you calibrate the probe to the pinpoint monitor and then attach the probe to a different non pinpoint monitor. Just keep in mind the Probe you are calibrating will need to be calibrated to the same non pinpoint computer system it's going to be partnered with.

I hope this information was helpful, Please let me now if you have any further questions, we are here to help.
